Moving Up to 20 percent Better Than Code

Under the Province of British Columbia’s CleanBC plan, as of 2022, all new construction will need to meet increased energy efficiency performance levels. Specifically, builders must deliver a 20 percent improvement over what the British Columbia Building Code currently requires. The move will align base building code requirements with what is currently Step 3, Part 9.
